YoungBoy Never Broke Again has shared a list of his five favourite rappers. For most people, this would prove a tricky selection to narrow down, but YoungBoy managed to rattle them off in no time.
Speaking on his Never Broke Again Radio show on Amazon Amp, YoungBoy responded to the question of who his own personal favourites are in a typically punchy manner.
“My top five rappers,” he began, “I’ll say Yeat, I’ll say [Young] Thug, I’ll say French Montana.” And then after a brief pause, he continued: “I will say Shy Glizzy, yeah, the last one Soulja Slim.”
Over the years, YoungBoy has been lucky enough to work with all of his selection, with the exception of Soulja Slim, who passed away in 2003. Clearly, YoungBoy was wowed by his collaborating peers when he worked with them on tracks like ‘So Real’ and ‘Hard’.
Tus, YoungBoy might have been in a complementary mood, but perhaps that is because he’s been heaped with praise himself lately. Snoop Dogg recently said that YoungBoy was one of his favourite artists, while Trippie Redd even compared him to Tupac.
