Young Scooter’s son shares heartfelt message about his father’s death

Young Scooter’s son recently delivered a heartfelt message about his late father following his father’s death last month. Young Scooter died on his birthday, March 28th, at the age of 39. Although his cause of death hasn’t been confirmed, it was revealed that he was fleeing from police in Atlanta after police received numerous calls about shots being fired.

The Atlanta rapper was deeply involved in the city’s hip-hop scene and was signed to Future, Waka Flocka Flame and even Gucci Mane at different times in his career. Although the cause of death is thought to be from a leg injury he sustained during a police chase, the alleged incident also saw a woman dragged back inside her home after an attempt to escape.

On March 29th, the late emcee’s son shared some posts on social media addressing his father’s death. On Instagram, Young Scooter’s son wrote, “You crushed everything in me. That’s all to it. Never gone heal, I’ll deal with it tho.”

He continued, “You got me sick asl bruh. We tight as ever. I learned everything from you. How to move around. Ain’t never hid [nothing] from me. Told me everything, and yo shit safe with me. I’m hurt shi feel weird walkin’ man why you did me like that[?]”

Young Scooter’s son, Kenneth Bailey Jr, continued, writing, “Man got me crying every 10 mins. Ima get off this social media shit. I just ain’t know how to express myself to you because [you ain’t] here no mo. Love you, my dawg.”

Stories about what happened on that night are still in the minds of many, and his death has left more questions than answers.

According to the Atlanta Police Department, they responded to a call about possible shots fired and a domestic dispute at a house on William Nye Drive in Atlanta. Police insist they “formed a perimeter around the home and that one of the two suspects that ran out of the backdoor was Young Scooter.”
