You can now own the entire Kendrick Lamar and Drake beef

Kendrick Lamar and Drake’s long feud has been somewhat of a highlight of this year concerning hip-hop. Not only was it entertaining, but it also saw two of the highest-selling rappers enter a lyrical battle that kept fans on the edge of their seats.

That said, the exchange of records has now been condensed into one cassette tape, containing every diss track from the heated back-and-forth. Tape Head City compiled the cassette, which they are selling for $16.

One Twitter/X user, @3ternalsirenity, recently shared an image of the product, which depicted the two MCs side-by-side with text reading “Drake v Kendrick Lamar” with the subheading “Featuring: Future, Metro Boomin, J Cole, The Weeknd, A$AP Rocky Rick Ross, Ye.” It followed up with “October 6th 2023 – May 5th 2024.”

The first track on the tape is Drake and J Cole’s ‘First Person Shooter’, which included a backhanded lyric aimed at Lamar, which heard Cole rhyme, “Love when they argue the hardest MC / Is it K-Dot? Is it Aubrey? Or me? / We the big three, like we started a league, but right now, I feel like Muhammad Ali”

Kendrick Lamar responded to Drake and J Cole on Future and Metro Boomin’s ‘Like That’, which kicked off an all-out war. Drake responded with ‘Push Ups,’ which was quickly followed by Kendrick’s ‘Euphoria’, ‘Family Matters’, ‘Taylor Made Freestyle’, and ‘Meet The Grahams’. A back-to-back barrage of diss tracks.

Drake’s ‘Taylor Made Freestyle’ saw him use AI to generate the voices of Snoop Dogg and 2Pac. However, it is no longer available for many to stream, as 2Pac’s estate did not appreciate the Canadian emcee using the voice of the late ‘California Love’ artist for personal gain.

The cease and desist letter received by Drake read, “The unauthorized, equally dismaying use of Tupac’s voice against Kendrick Lamar, a good friend to the Estate who has given nothing but respect to Tupac and his legacy publicly and privately, compounds the insult”.

This Tape Head City compilation is an exclusive product, and it is still unclear how many are available.
