Wu-Tang Clan announce show with Symphony Orchestra

The world-famous Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Colorado is hosting a unique show alongside the Colorado Symphony, Outkast’s Big Boi and turntablist Chris Karns on August 13th.

The legendary rap collective hasn’t appeared at the venue since their Halloween show during the 25th-anniversary tour. Wu-Tang are bringing out all the stops to make sure that their return to the venue will be a night to remember with the addition of Bigboi and the local Colorado Symphony.

The Symphony have declared the venue as their “unofficial summer home,” and they are currently taking part in John Williams scores, which is some jump from Wu-Tang, but they’ll be more than up to the task.

“Like lots of other industries, sports and entertainment have been completely sidelined,” venue spokesperson Brian Kitts said. “Getting back to business is really emotional for a lot of people. We will never take for granted again the experience of gathering or sitting there having a beer, watching a show or a game.”

The state of Colorado is set to allow Red Rocks to start hosting shows at full capacity again from June 21st, and Wu-Tang look set to perform at a packed house.

Tickets are on sale here.
