Wu-Tang Clan perform at NBA Finals halftime show

Wu-Tang Clan performed at the halftime show of Game 4 of the NBA Finals this week.

The New York Knicks are now one game away from winning the NBA Championship for the first time since 1973 after going up 3-1 in the series against the San Antonio Spurs on June 10th.

While the Knicks were down 29, the legendary Wu-Tang took to the court at Madison Square Garden for a halftime show that saw them perform a medley of classic songs such as ‘Bring da Ruckus‘, ‘Method Man’ and ‘C.R.E.A.M.’.

During a performance of ‘Wu‐Tang Clan Ain’t Nuthing ta F’ Wit’, they changed the lyrics to say, “New York Knicks ain’t nuthing ta fuck wit.”

The group, who are famously from Staten Island, New York City, wore Knicks clothing and closed out the performance by saying, “Knicks in five.”

Knicks won 107-106 on the night, and could potentially claim the trophy on June 14th with a win at Frost Bank Center in San Antonio.

Despite New York City having two teams in the New York Knicks and Brooklyn Nets, RZA recently pledged his allegiance to the Knicks

“The guy just asked me about 10 minutes ago, he said, ‘Knicks or Nets’?” he told SiriusXM. “I said, ‘Bro, listen, I know the Nets in Brooklyn now, but they from Jersey, bro. Aight. Don’t get it twisted, bro.’ So, I’m Knicks. But I mean, look, I root for them, I always root for them. I’ve lost money, but guess what? I’m betting on them again.”

In March, Wu-Tang announced the second leg of their farewell tour, which is set to begin in August with dates across North America.
