Wiz Khalifa is one of hip-hop’s most renowned weed smokers. Now, he’s revealed how much weed he gets through daily, and the amount is staggering, even for Wiz’s standards.

Sitting down for an interview with Jimmy Kimmel, the 37-year-old was asked if it was true that he smokes 30 blunts every single day.

In response, he confirmed, “Yeah, yeah, yup. I have things to do. I work out — I got kids, so I do a lot of different things.”

When told that number equates to more than one joint an hour if he was awake for every hour of the day, he said, “Yeah, that’s not bad at all. Somebody put it a really good way the other day: you smoke and then you just challenge yourself to do normal things throughout the day. I enjoy it.”

Wiz went on to explain why he originally started smoking marijuana. ”It was just for for music purposes, like, being in the studio and hanging around other musicians it was just the thing to do,” he said. “It kind of became something that, you know, later on in life helped me to get through a lot of things.”

In April, the ‘See You Again’ artist released his new album Kush + Orange Juice 2, the sequel to his popular 2010 mixtape. Wiz spoke about bringing back the stoner rap era during an interview with Rolling Stone.

“When you want to listen to Kush + Orange Juice 2, I don’t want to turn everybody into it, but the lifestyle that comes with it is way more livable than the weed, than the other drugs that people are doing,” he said. “And those people really aren’t having fun.”

He added, “The amount of violence, the amount of just shit that you have to worry about when you’re in that crowd, it doesn’t even compare to just being around some cool stoners and enjoying yourself. So I’m just giving people an alternative and really, like you said, bringing that to the forefront and making that cooler to just chill out and be alive.”
