Watch Kendrick Lamar perform at Louis Vuitton’s Fashion Week

Ahead of the biggest show of his career headlining Glastonbury Festival’s closing night on Sunday, Kendrick Lamar did his best to score himself a free outfit by playing an intimate show at Louis Vuitton’s Fashion Week.

The rapper offered the well-dressed crowd a string of songs from his latest album Mr Morale and the Big Steppers as he warms up for a crowd likely to be in excess of 100,000.

The show took place in Paris as part of the city of lights’ annual Fashion Week, with Lamar helping to launch Vuitton’s Men’s Spring-Summer 2023 Show selection. Some of the clobber was questionable, but thankfully, the tunes were not.

For the set, Lamar debuted three tracks for the first time amid his four-song set – ‘Saviour’, ‘Rich Spirit’, ‘Count Me Out’ and ‘N95’ – which might hint at what he is due to play at Glastonbury

Elsewhere in the set, Lamar played tribute to Vuitton’s late creative director by incorporating a chant of “Long live Virgil” into the rhythm of ‘N95’ in a fittingly fashionable tribute.
