Virginia rapper shot and killed in Norfolk as wife denies police report

Virginia rapper BS3 Whiteboy has been shot and killed.

The musician (real name Reginald Pryor) lost his life in Norfolk on July 5th in the 400 block of Granby Street.

According to WAVY News 10, the Norfolk Police Department claim that an altercation took place leading up to the shooting.

They stated that Whiteboy had been involved in an argument in a car park, leading to gunshots.

However, the rapper’s wife, Keara Poole, has denied their claims. “When I seen on the internet that they said that there was an altercation, it kind of upset me,” she said. “There was no altercation. We was just trying to enjoy the 4th of July. Walking along, walking along arm-in-arm.”

She added, “Both my brothers were killed. [In] 2015, my younger brother was killed. In 2019, my oldest brother was killed.”

Poole runs a business called Teddi Hugs and Luv that offers support to people in times of loss. When asked if she will continue with the work, she said, “I’m not sure [about] that question just yet. I will try to continue my business. However, I can when the time is right. But at this time, it’s very hard for me, very hard for me.”

BS3 Whiteboy is best known for songs like ‘No BapBap’, ‘I Wish’, and ‘My Cousin’. People took to the comments of his YouTube videos to react to the news.

One person wrote, “We gotta stop the killin .. First time seeing this young dude and it’s because I heard he lost his life.. so much potential.”

Another person said, “Sounds like potential-a quick whitted… maybe it was too early to 2nd amendment in the music though smh, norfolk been loud-not clear about it.”
