Tyga and Travis Barker are working on a new collaborative project

Rap artist Tyga is reportedly set to join Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker in a new collaborative project. According to TMZ, Tyga has visited Barker’s Calabasas studio rather frequently in recent weeks. The pair are reportedly shaping out a collaborative EP set for release “in the coming months.”

The pair have collaborated on past projects and, most notably, have both played respective roles in the Kardashian/Jenner timeline, but not concurrently. Tyga is also working on a project with YG, which the pair announced during a March performance at Rolling Loud, LA.

Just before launching into a live rendition of their 2019 collaborative track ‘Go Loko’, Tyga announced the exciting new project. “So it’s crazy because last year, or like a year or two ago, we was working on the album, but the shit was going so crazy that we only came up with one song,” Tyga said. “But now we about to drop the new album, coming soon you feel me.”

Elsewhere, Tyga recently discussed the “Best Rappers of All Time”. “Lil Wayne & Eminem are the best rappers of all time! Lyrical word play, delivery, flow, pockets, originality, raw, intentional, clarity, generational influence,” he wrote in a tweet in March.

A few days thereafter, Tyga also showed some love for his past collaborator Nicki Minaj, noting her “word play, punchlines, creativity”.

“Nicki is the best female rapper of all time no one comes close! World play, punchlines, delivery, pockets, beat selection, creativity. Inflictions,” he tweeted.
