It’s been reported Trey Songz is currently under investigation for sexual assault in Las Vegas.
TMZ broke the news, and they claim a report was lodged to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department on November 28th after an incident at The Cosmopolitan hotel at the weekend.
It’s believed the rapper was celebrating his 37th birthday at Drai’s Nightclub. Following attending the club, it’s believed that he and his entourage then took a group of women to the hotel where the alleged incident took place.
According to TMZ, Songz is currently cooperating with the investigation, although no arrests are yet to be made.
Last year, he denied a sexual misconduct allegation against a woman known only as ‘Aliza’. She claimed that she’d been urinated on during an unconsented sexual encounter and then refused to let her leave the room.
“I didn’t know what was happening, he just did it,” Eliza claimed on the No Jumper podcast where she named Songz. However, he then took to Twitter to say the complaint was “convenient” for an individual who “seek[s] to destroy someone’s life”.
He added: “I brush it off every time but once you have an allegation no matter it’s true weight in validation, it’s now happened once and to some will be believable from that moment forward. None of that happened.”
Songz is yet to address the recent allegations.
