Travis Scott reveals plans to go to Harvard when he retires from music

Hip-hop star Travis Scott has revealed that he plans to attend Harvard University once he retires from music in the near-future.

While promoting his forthcoming album Utopia, Scott told Pin-Up Magazine that architecture is a true passion of his that he would love to pursue. Over the years, Scott has given several hints that he isn’t in music for the long-haul, however, this is the first time he has detailed his plans after leaving the rap game.

“Architecture is my true passion,” Scott declared. “I plan to apply to the architecture program at Harvard GSD when I’m done with music, which won’t be for a while. It would be dope to do both at the same time.”

He even hinted at the sort of design he would specialise in and how it influences his music. “Brutalism is spare,” he said. “That’s how I treat music. I like to take it all in and throw it down. In Brutalist architecture I find comfort in raw materials that serve a purpose.”

His latest album, Utopia, is finally on the way after months of heavy hints. In February, Epic Records’ Sylvia Rhone revealed that the album will be dropping in June 2023. It is said to feature Kid Cudi, Future and Lil Uzi Vert among others.
