Travis Scott premieres new song 'Escape Plan' at Rolling Loud festival

Travis Scott’s headline set at Rolling Loud festival in Miami was a triumph, and he even treated the crowd to a blistering premiere of his brand new song, ‘Escape Plan’.

Scott started his set with his new song from the top of a raised structure, and it got his headline show off to an exciting start as the Florida crowd went wild as he delivered a theatrical performance. It wasn’t the only song he played and later gave a rendition of an untitled acapella track.

Before his set, he teased ‘Escape Plan’ on Twitter and posted: “Hmm someone ask me how I’m starting I said this is how. Who can remember this by tonight.”

The follow-up to 2018’s Astroworld is reportedly titled Utopia and is set for release at some point this year. Although, Scott has kept his cards close to his chest when discussing the record.

“I never tell people this, and I’m probably going to keep it a secret still, but I’m working with some new people and I’m just trying to expand the sound,” Scott said about his new album to i-D back in February.

He added: “I’ve been making beats again, rapping on my own beats, just putting everything together and trying to grow it really. That’s been one of the most fun things about working on this album. I’m evolving, collaborating with new people, delivering a whole new sound, a whole new range.”

Anticipation for the album is sky-high, and this frantic performance of ‘Escape Plan’ has only enhanced expectations.
