Travis Scott asks families of Astroworld victims to email him

Travis Scott has asked the families of Astroworld victims to come forward and directly get in touch with him through email.

Yesterday, a ninth person festival attendee, Bharti Shahani, died in hospital. Her family’s attorney confirmed that she “lost her battle from the horrific injuries she sustained at the Astroworld festival” after previously being declared braindead earlier this week.

A new statement from Scott’s team reads, “Over the last week, Travis Scott and his team have been actively exploring routes of connection with each and every family affected by the tragedy through the appropriate liaisons.

“He is distraught by the situation and desperately wishes to share his condolences and provide aid to them as soon as possible, but wants to remain respectful of each family’s wishes on how they’d best like to be connected.”

Additionally, he’s asked them to reach out to [email protected], and they will “have a team on hand to assist”.

Scott previously promised to help the families and also offered to pay the casualties funeral expenses. “We’re actually working right now to identify the families so we can help assist them during this tough time,” he said.

“My fans really mean the world to me. I always just really want to leave them with a positive experience. Anytime I can make out what’s going on, I stop the show and help them get the help they need.”
