The Weeknd and Post Malone join forces on 'One Right Now'

Two titans of music have collided today as The Weeknd and Post Malone bring their skills together on the new single, ‘One Right Now’.

This is the first time that the two of them have joined forces on a track before, and it arrives as the lead single from Posty’s follow-up to 2019’s Hollywood Bleeding. His next album is anticipated to drop early next year, and ‘One Right Now’ has heightened the excitement for his next project even further.

The synth-led track finds The Weeknd singing, “You’re a stain on my legacy, We can’t be friends, can’t be family (Oh), You probably fuck all my enemies (Oh), I can’t let you be next to me, (Oh), you belong to the world now/ So just me leave me alone now, We’re not in touch no more.”

On the chorus, the pair come together to sing in unison, “You say you love me, but I don’t care, That I brokе my hand on the same wall, That you told me that he fucked you on (That he fucked you on), You think it’s so easy fuckin’ with my feelings (Feelings).”

Meanwhile, Posty was set to headline this year’s Posty Fest in Texas last weekend. However, the event was cancelled due to “logistical issues”. The rapper was scheduled to be joined by Megan Thee Stallion, Tyga, Roddy Rich, Jack Harlow, and many more.

“Due to logistical issues impacting the production of the festival, Posty Fest is rescheduling to 2022,” they said in a statement. “Refunds are available at point of purchase. “We can’t wait to make 2022 our biggest year yet. Stay safe everyone, we’ll see you soon.”

However, Variety said the lapsed Covid protocols in Texas made it hard to implement a safe festival. In the best interests of everyone involved, they postponed the event until next year.
