The Game reveals he was the target of a shooting
The Game has revealed that he was the target of a shooting this week.
The Compton rapper claims he was in his car when gunfire took place on April 1st.
Taking to his Instagram Stories, he alleged that multiple people fired bullets at his vehicle, before sending death wishes.
Game stated that he hoped one of the men “bled out,” suggesting he or an affiliate sent bullets in the other direction.
“To the [ninja]’s that just shot at my truck, I hope ya homie bleed out on the way to the hospital b!%#?” he wrote.
Game has been involved in various shootings over the years. The rapper was famously shot several times during a home invasion in October 2001; he was struck five times, suffering injuries to his chest and legs, which put him in a coma.
Reflecting on the shooting in 2022, he said, “Back then, I didn’t care if I lived or died and that was normal to me. I never expected nor cared to live past 25 years old. I literally didn’t give a fuck !!!! My childhood was rough…. sometimes I do not know how I made it out of all I’ve been through… but, I did… and I guess that’s the only important part of my story at this point in life.”
Game also claimed that another shooting took place years later, moments before he planned to put his son in his car seat.
“The thing that changed my life was when a bullet went through my son’s car seat and I was just about to go into the house and get him and put him in the car,” he told NME. “A bullet hole was in the car seat where his head would have been. And on that day, I moved out of Compton and got me a condo in Beverly Hills.”
