The critically acclaimed movie Boosie Badazz hates

Boosie Badazz is always sharing his opinions. From new music to celebrities and even film, the Baton Rouge native is more than happy to tell his fans what he thinks. However, following the release of a critically acclaimed Martin Scorsese movie last year, the artist (real name Torrence Hatch) spoke out about his dislike for the film.

In October last year, a new Martin Scorsese movie hit theatres. Entitled Killers Of The Flower Moon, the Western crime drama set in 1920s Oklahoma, sees Leonardo DiCaprio alongside Robert De Niro depict the genocide of a wealthy Native American tribe.

After watching it, Hatch took to Twitter/X to let his fans know what he thought about it, writing, “IM GETTING PISSED OFF WATCHING THIS MOVIE’ KILLERS OF THE FLOWER MOON! IT’S A SHAME WHAT INDIANS N BLACKS WENT THROUGH BACK IN THE DAYS TO THE HANDS OF THE WHITE MAN. JUST PURE EVIL.”

Boosie Badazz admitted that he’s been attempting anger management but stated that the film didn’t help him, unveiling, “I CANT WATCH MOVIES LIKE THIS ANYMORE R CIVIL RIGHTS MOVIES ANYMORE CAUSE IVE BEEN TRYIN TO WORK ON MY ANGER N THIS REALLY PISSES ME THE FUCK OFF I HATE THIS DAM MOVIE.”

Killers Of The Flower Moon depicts the brutal murders of the Osage Nation after white Americans realised that the oil and natural resources could be extracted by looking to gain their wealth.

Boosie’s take on the film was far from the first time he had commented on television and film. In April 2021, he said he would no longer watch Dr. Phil after taking issue with a particular episode.

Taking to social media to air his grievances, Hatch wrote, “I’m about to stop watching Dr. Phil! Man, that dude got some shit on here. This shit too crazy for me man. The daughter snorting cocaine with they daddy, she 13 years old. Bruh, this shit crazy. This shit crazy.”
