T.I.’s son arrested on drug charges in Georgia

The son of T.I., King Harris, has been arrested in Georgia on drug charges.

The 21-year-old rapper and media personality (real name Clifford Harris III) was taken into custody over the weekend following a traffic stop.

According to TMZ, he was booked on a felony charge for possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanour charge of wilful obstruction of law enforcement officers, while receiving two traffic citations for a seatbelt violation and speeding.

The Gwinnett County Police Department claims Harris was going 60mph in a 45mph zone at around 1am on April 12th.

Police officers spotted a gun near Harris and told him to get out of the vehicle. He refused, prompting the officers to arrest him. A vape pen with 10 milligrams of THC was also found in the car.

At the time of his arrest, Harris was wearing a Pokémon onesie. Following the incident, he took to his Instagram Stories to joke about the outfit while referencing the animated series.

In one post, he wrote, “Pikachu got pulled over. They not catching this Pikachu tonight.”

Shortly after, Harris said, “Welp you can say they caught da Pikachu wit a master ball.” He later wrote, “Fuck dat police, Ima [fuck] ya wife watch!!!”

Harris most recently made headlines for dissing 50 Cent after the G-Unit rapper made comments about his mother.

Attacking 50 over his deceased mother, he said, “Bitch ass n*gga wanna say something about my mama, your mama dead as fuck n*gga. Your mama dead as fuck, go dig her up. Go dig her up. Fuck. Post a picture of your motherfucking mama n*gga, she dead n*gga. Pay respect, n*gga. Stop fucking playing with my mama n*gga.”
