Snoop Dogg to release 'Nuthin' But A G Thang' NFT

Snoop Dogg has teased the release of an NFT version of ‘Nuthin’ But A G Thang’.

The latest news follows Snoop saying last month: “Death Row will be an NFT label. We will be putting out artists through the metaverse. Just like we broke the industry when we was the first independent to be major, I want to be the first major in the metaverse.”

Earlier this year, the legendary rapper took ownership of Death Row, formed by Suge Knight, Dr Dre, and Michael’ Harry O’ Harris back in 1991. Snoop was one of their best signings, and his first two records were released on Death Row before they parted ways in 1998.

However, fans are worried that he plans on changing Death Row into an NFT label, and his latest comments have only enhanced this perspective from fans.

During a YouTube Live chat with Ice Cube and Gala Music, Snoop told viewers: “Death Row Records is the first major label to be an NFT label.” Later on, in the interview, he adds: “I just might sell ‘Nuthin’ But a G Thang’ next month.”

Snoop has gone all-in on the metaverse and last year revealed he was behind a secret crypto Twitter account under the alias of Cozomo de’ Medici, which had amassed quite the following.
