Snoop Dogg opens up on how he and Eminem squared their beef

Last year, Snoop Dogg publically dug out Eminem, which led to a beef between the two rap legends. However, now ‘The Doggfather’ has revealed how they ended their problems.

During a controversial appearance on The Breakfast Club, the rapper tore into Eminem and started the war. “Eminem, the great White hope,” he said. “White rappers had zero respect in rap. Let’s keep that one thou-wow. None. [Dr. Dre] has probably put Eminem in the position to where he could be one of the top 10 rappers ever.

“I don’t think so, but the game feels like he’s top 10 lyricists and all that comes with it. But, that’s just because he’s with Dr. Dre and Dr. Dre helped him find the best Eminem that he could find,” Snoop added.

‘Slim’ then responded to the drama on his track, ‘Zeus’, where he rapped, “Last thing I need is Snoop doggin’ me/Man, Dogg, you was like a damn god to me/Nah, not really/I had ‘dog’ backwards.”

However, the bad blood is yesterday’s news, and Snoop recently hinted at a possible collaboration between them. On top of that, they will be joining Dre for a performance at the halftime show at the Super Bowl next year.

Now, Snoop has returned to The Breakfast Club and revealed how the two of them settled their differences. “Man, I love Eminem!” he said. “The thing is that we love Hip Hop so much, we competitive, we battle rappers, so that was supposed to trigger that in him.

“But we brothers and we family so we learned to appreciate each other for what we do and how we get down, and we had a long conversation about the respect that we have for each other and the way we need to talk in public about each other.”

He added, “I felt like I was out of pocket. I apologised to him and I let him know that I’m just bettering myself. I make mistakes, I ain’t perfect, I’m Snoop Dogg.”
