Snoop Dogg could face a lawsuit from Uber Eats driver

Snoop Dogg could be facing a lawsuit from an Uber Eats driver.

Last month, the rapper complained on Instagram about a driver who he alleged didn’t fulfil his order. Snoop shared private information on his Instagram, such as his name and more personal information such as his photo and license plate number.

In his video message, Snoop said, “from fucking Uber Eats didn’t bring my fucking food. Talking about he arrived. ‘This is not a safe place.’.. where my food at n****? You got all my goddamn money, punk.”

CBS Los Angeles now states that the Uber Eats employee is planning to file a lawsuit. The driver, named Sayd, said: “There’s my picture there and also there is my first name. After I saw the video, I’m kind of like, I have high anxiety and I fear for my family’s safety. I contacted the customer many times and I followed the protocol by the book.”

In the messages, the Uber Eats worker repeatedly tells Snoop he has arrived and asked Snoop to “plz answer”. After waiting the required eight minutes, the driver informed Snoop he was leaving because of security fears.

“This is not a safe place,” the driver wrote, and Snoop then replied: “Yes it is, pull up to the gate.”

Uber Eats issued an apology to Snoop, saying: “We truly regret Snoop Dogg’s frustrating experience. We have reached out to apologise and refunded him for the order.”

However, the driver was furious with their apology and thought he should be the one on the receiving end of an apology after the personal information leak. Sayd hasn’t returned to work since the incident. He said: “When I read that [apology], I just felt like it’s not fair because I am the one that deserves an apology from UberEats, not Snoop.”
