Snoop Dogg claims the next 'Verzuz' battle will be Big Daddy Kane and KRS One

Snoop Dogg has weighed into the discussion regarding the next Verzuz battle, and he wants it to be between two of his favourite rappers; Big Daddy Kane and KRS One.

The series were created by Timbaland and Swiss Beatz at the start of the pandemic last year. They pair up legendary figures from the hip hop scene and pit their back catalogues against one another while audiences watching at home declare a winner after it goes the full 20 rounds.

Although it started virtually, since its incarnation, Verzuz has continued to grow, and now it’s been revealed that on October 17th, they will be taking it to the Barclays Center in Brooklyn in collaboration with the forthcoming horror series, Chucky.

“WANNA PLAY? We got a new VERZUZ on the way Sunday, October 17th, brought to you by the killer new series, #Chucky,” the Instagram announcement on Friday read for the show. “Who do y’all think it is!? Drop your guesses in the comments below and we’ll pick an entry at random to get a pair of tix!”

Snoop Dogg couldn’t resist the chance for free tickets despite his endless millions and took to the comments to write, “Big daddy. Kane. V. K. R. S1”. Meanwhile, DJ Premier added, “I can tell by the silhouette.”

Additionally, Rakim noted, “Do it for Hip-Hop??? @officialbigdaddykane @verzuztv @thegodrakim #TheGodMC #Rakim #RakimAllah #TheR #The18thLetter #TheMicrophoneFiend #MicrophoneFiend #FollowTheLeader #EricBandRakim #EricB #PaidInFull #TheSeventhSeal #BigDaddyKane #Verzuz #SwizzBeats #Timbaland.”
