Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs’ son believes father will be released from prison soon
Sean ‘Diddy‘ Combs is currently behind bars in New Jersey, but one of his sons thinks he will be released sooner rather than later.
The Bad Boy rapper is in the middle of a 50-month sentence after being found guilty of transportation to engage in prostitution charges.
TMZ recently caught up with his son, King Combs (real name Christian Combs), at Los Angeles International Airport. During the interview, he revealed he was hopeful about his father being out of prison earlier than scheduled.
“We gon play the ‘Diddy Free’ joint whole Christmas, whole Thanksgiving,” he said. “He coming home, though. Just watch out, he might come home before then.” ‘Diddy Free’ is a song that appears on his Never Stop EP, which was released in July. The track was produced by Kanye West.
When asked if his father is in contact with the Trump administration, he said, “Stay tuned, he gon’ be home soon.”
27-year-old Christian is the son of Combs and Kim Porter, who passed away in 2018. Since his father was arrested, he has consistently shown support for him.
Combs, who is currently located at FCI Fort Dix, requested a pardon from President Donald Trump earlier this year and has allegedly been bragging to inmates about an early prison release in 2026.
However, the president has yet to respond to his request, with a White House spokesperson denying reports about a pardon being considered.
“There is zero truth to the TMZ report, which we would’ve gladly explained had they reached out before running their fake news,” a representative said. “The president, not anonymous sources, is the final decider on pardons and commutations.”
