Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs sells Miami mansion raided by the FBI in sex trafficking case
Sean ‘Diddy‘ Combs has sold his Star Island mansion for $55 million.
The property, located on Miami Beach, was one of two homes that the FBI raided in 2024 as part of his sex trafficking case.
According to The Business Journals, a company affiliated with the Bad Boy rapper, 1 West Star Island LLC, recently sold the property to JFStar LLC.
The owner of the business, John A Franklin, acquired an $18.5 million mortgage through Axos Bank.
Combs purchased the mansion from Emilio and Gloria Estefan for $35 million in 2021, meaning he made a $20 million profit on the property. The home, addressed to 1 Star Island Drive, is 6,754 square feet, with the price equalling $8,143 per square foot.
Prosecutors claimed that Combs used the property for “freak-off” parties, where he allegedly used his “power and prestige” to “abuse, threaten and coerce women to fulfil his sexual desires.”
Combs was found guilty of two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution, while being acquitted of racketeering conspiracy and sex trafficking by force, fraud, and coercion.
Despite the Miami mansion selling for $55 million, Combs has been struggling to sell his property in Beverly Hills. The rapper put his California home up for sale in September 2024 for $61.5 million; however, he took it down after it was on the market for 13 months.
Combs was sentenced to 50 months in prison in October 2025 and is scheduled to be released in February 2028. He’s behind bars at FCI Fort Dix in New Jersey.
