Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs’ former chief of staff defeats sex trafficking lawsuit
Sean ‘Diddy‘ Combs’ former chief of staff has had a sex trafficking lawsuit dismissed by the judge.
39-year-old Kristina Khorram, a former senior executive described as the Bad Boy rapper’s “right hand,” had a legal victory during a recent hearing.
According to TMZ, a Los Angeles County Superior Court judge threw out sexual battery, sex trafficking, and other claims brought by Combs’ former employee, Phillip Pines.
The judge ruled that Pines didn’t provide enough evidence to support his allegation that Khorram could be held liable for alleged crimes, stating that he didn’t prove that she was aware of sexual battery or sexual trafficking.
Pines claimed that he set up hotel rooms for sexual encounters known as “freak-offs,” providing baby oil and sex toys while being in charge of cleaning up afterwards.
Combs is currently serving a 50-month sentence after being found guilty of two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution in October.
His team denied Pines’ claims, saying, “No matter how many lawsuits are filed, it won’t change the fact that Mr Combs has never sexually assaulted or sex trafficked anyone – man or woman, adult or minor. We live in a world where anyone can file a lawsuit for any reason. Fortunately, a fair and impartial judicial process exists to find the truth, and Mr Combs is confident he will prevail in court.”
In a Facebook post in January 2021, Combs announced Khorram as his chief of staff and gave her high praise.
“Meet Kristina Khorram, Chief of Staff at Combs Enterprises,” he wrote. “Kristina aka KK keeps everything in my life and my business running. She’s been my right hand for the last 8 years and has consistently proven to execute and get shit done. Don’t know how I’d function without her.”
