Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs’ businesses removed from Dawn Richard lawsuit
Dawn Richard has removed 10 of Sean ‘Diddy‘ Combs’ businesses from her lawsuit against the Bad Boy founder. Richard sued Combs in September last year, alleging sex trafficking, forced labour, and other claims.
Court documents show that the following companies have been cut from the suit: Daddy’s House Recording Studio, Bad Boy Entertainment LLC, Bad Boy Records LLC, Bad Boy Entertainment Holdings Inc., Bad Boy Productions Holdings Inc, Bad Boy Books Holdings Inc, 1169 Corp, Sean Combs Capital LLC, CE OpCo LLC, and UMG Recordings Inc.
According to AllHipHop, the claims are being dropped “without prejudice.” Despite the amended lawsuit, Combs is still named alongside Janice Combs Publishing LLC, Janice Combs Publishing Holdings Inc., and Love Records Inc.
Richard was a member of the Bad Boy group Danity Kane, as well as Diddy – Dirty Money, alongside Combs and Kalenna Harper.
In November, Richard’s attorney, Lisa Bloom, claimed that Combs “groped and grabbed her body parts, sexually assaulted her, that he not only failed to pay her money that was promised to her, but actually prevented her from eating and sleeping during those years – just treated her terribly.”
She also alleged Richard witnessed “severe acts of violence” against Cassie and others. “When she spoke out, she says she was threatened with more physical violence,” Bloom said. “She said Sean Combs had a vicious temper and she was absolutely terrified of him.”
Combs was found guilty of two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution in July and faces up to 20 years in prison. He will be sentenced on October 3rd.
