Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs alternate juror says freak-off footage was “tame”

An alternate juror in Sean ‘Diddy‘ Combs’ sex trafficking trial has shared his thoughts on the case following its conclusion. The man, known only as George, agreed with the verdict and detailed the evidence he saw.

The 37-year-old man, who works in the counter-terrorism office at the United Nations, sat down on July 3rd to reflect on the trial, which resulted in Combs being found guilty of two charges of transportation to engage in prostitution.

“I understood the final verdict,” he told CNN. “I took a copious amount of notes overall, I think 350 pages worth of notes. Because at the end, we weren’t told who was an alternate, who was a main juror, until literally the last second, when the judge was reading his entire statement at the end.”

He added, “Reading all my notes, and looking back at the evidence, I probably would have reached the same conclusion as the other jurors.”

George was the first jury pool member but wasn’t part of the group that deliberated. He opened up about being shown footage of the “freak offs” and “hotel nights” that Cassie and another anonymous ex-girlfriend detailed while testifying.

“They were very graphic,” he said. “If we’re looking at it from one side, it was definitely riveting and eye-opening. They were showing some of the… Both the freak-offs and the hotel nights, as they were called.”

He claimed the defence was “very selective” and focused on videos that showed Cassie “not engaging with sexual activity” during the sex parties.

“There was sexual activity, but it wasn’t really… It didn’t seem forced,” George explained. “It was actually pretty tame. It was a lot of rubbing oil and stuff on there. It wasn’t anything too graphic.”
