Salt-N-Pepa and TLC announce co-headlining ‘It’s Iconic’ tour
Salt-N-Pepa and TLC have announced that they’re going on a co-headlining tour.
It’s Iconic: The Tour will find the two iconic hip-hop and R&B groups touring North America later this year.
Supported by En Vogue, they’ll be hitting the road in August, September, and October, with shows in Toronto, Chicago, Virginia Beach, Charlotte, Tampa, Kansas City, Atlanta, Inglewood, and many other cities.
Speaking on the tour, Pepa said, “It’s going to be so much for them. Overwhelming almost. All the music that’s going to be played? It’s like, ‘Oh my God! Oh my God! OH MY GOD!’”
Salt added, “This show is going to be crazy. I feel like this is going to be the most fun touring experience I’ve ever had. And I feel like we’re going to feel the queens in the building, you know what I mean? Like, we earned this seat!”
Fans will get a taste of the tour on March 26th when Salt-N-Pepa, TLC, and En Vogue play at the iHeartRadio Music Awards.
Pre-sale tickets will go live on March 24th, with general sale tickets available on March 26th at 10am local time.
Terry Ellis of En Vogue said, “Having all of us come together, it’s a cultural olympian. And just being able to work with these ladies. They represent resilience, empowerment, and to be a part of that? They’re legends.”
Salt-N-Pepa released their last album, Brand New, in 1997, while TLC’s self-titled LP came out in 2017 following a 15-year gap between their last project.
