Rick Ross claims he wasn’t allowed entry into Buckingham Palace

Rapper Rick Ross has taken to social media to reveal that he is upset after being denied entry into Buckingham Palace on a recent trip to London.

On his Instagram account, Ross claimed that he tried to gain entry into Queen Elizabeth’s most iconic residence but was swiftly denied. He then humorously quipped online that his illustrious CV was enough to gain access.

He wrote: “Alright so y’all saw me go to Buckingham Palace. I pulled the homie to the side and told him you know, who I was, the Biggest Bawse. And for one of the first times in a long time that didn’t get me in. It didn’t get me through the gates.”

Ross then joked that he now forgives the person who said he wasn’t allowed in after he was directed to a swanky restaurant nearby.

“I didn’t get to sit at the table,” he continued. “But what he did do was refer me to a spot and they said they’d be waiting on me and I can pick the lobster I wanted to eat so I forgave him.”

It’s been a busy period for Rick Ross. As well as recently playing at Brixton’s historic O2 Academy, earlier this year he collaborated with Freddie Gibbs on the energetic track ‘Ice Cream’. Produced by Kenny Beats, it is built around a sample used by RZA and Raekwon from Wu-Tang Clan for the latter’s 1995 single, also named ‘Ice Cream’.

Ross made the headlines back in December after he walked out during an interview after claiming he was going to the bathroom. Just over half an hour into an interview with The 85 South Comedy he went to use the bathroom but never came back, with the hosts informed off-camera that he’d needed to catch a flight.
