Ray J reveals Chris Brown broke up fight between him and Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs children
Ray J recently unveiled that at a party in Los Angeles he was nearly involved in a fist fight with with the children of Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs. On October 26th, Ray J, Chris Brown, and Combs’ three sons, Christian, Quincy and Justin all attended the Halloween party of influencer, Tara Electra, which is when the incident occurred.
However, in the early hours of October 27th, while at the party, the ‘One Wish’ vocalist was confronted by all three of the Bad Boy founder’s sons. As reported by multiple outlets, the singer was surrounded by Combs family members and an argument broke out involving Justin and Christian.
The reason Ray J was approached was due to some allegations he made earlier this year where he alleged with certainty that he knew of sexual assault by Combs. That said, at the party, as the row about the allegations began to heat up, it was reported that R&B star Chris Brown had stepped in to cool the situation down, and things began to get physical.
Following the news of this altercation, Wack 100 invited Ray J to speak in a Clubhouse conversation and confirm whether or not the reports were true. When asked whether he was “rushed” by Combs’ kids, the singer responded, “Yeah. In LA, n-gga! I’m at the club, dawg […] I had nobody with me, dawg.”
However, when Wack 100 asked Ray J how many people confronted him, he suggested that more than just the three sons tried to attack him, stating, “I don’t know. Like, eight.. They too young! I tried to talk some sense into, like, what happened but luckily the homie Chris was here.”
The ‘I Hit It First’ singer insisted he was cutting ties with Combs earlier this year after video footage of him assaulting Cassie Ventura emerged. During an appearance on the Club Shay Shay podcast with Shannon Sharpe, Ray J declared, “Everybody messes up, but we can’t be cool after that. It’s unforgiveable, it’s too much.”
He added, “There’s no room for that in this world that we’ve been working hard to get to. That’s fucking unacceptable. I’ve never ever seen nothing like that in my life.” Ray J also argued that the mogul deserves to be harshly punished for his alleged crimes, stating, “Bare knuckles, you know what I’m saying? The homie need a public whipping. It’s the only way it’s gonna be right, 100 lashes, 1,000 lashes. That would help!”
Combs is set to face trial in May, 2025, after being charged with sex trafficking and racketeering. He denies all allegations of wrongdoing and is set to plead not guilty.
Last week, Combs’ children shared a statement in support of their father. Acknowledging his charges for the first time, they wrote: “The past month has devastated our family. Many have judged both him and us based on accusations, conspiracy theories, and false narratives that have spiraled into absurdity on social media.”
The message continued: “We stand united, supporting you every step of the way. We hold onto the truth, knowing it will prevail, and nothing will break the strength of our family. WE MISS YOU & LOVE YOU DAD.”
