Pusha T will unveil new album ‘It’s Almost Dry’ this Friday

Pusha T has confirmed his fourth studio album It’s Almost Dry will be released this Friday, April 22nd. The rapper and label executive announced the album’s title earlier in April alongside a string of tour dates across the United States in support of the album.

The highly-anticipated new offering includes tracks such as the recently-teased ‘Neck & Wrist’, featuring Jay Z and produced by Pharell Williams. The single comes after the release of ‘Diet Coke’ back in February, featuring Kanye West and 88-Keys.

It’s Almost Dry serves as the follow up to 2018’s Daytona, which earned Pusha T a nomination for Best Rap Album at the 2019 Grammy Awards. While Pusha hasn’t released a full-length offering since then, he’s dropped several celebrated singles, including his Kash Doll collab ‘Sociopath’, ‘No Problem’, ‘Puppets’ and ‘Coming Home’ featuring Lauryn Hill.

Elsewhere he’s also collaborated with Babyface Ray on ‘Dancing With The Devil’ and Divine and Vince Staples on ‘Jungle Matra’. Back in 2020, he also joined forces with Black Thought for the single ‘Good Morning’.

Opening up about the new record in a 2021 interview with Complex, Pusha T said: “All I’ll say is this: The album of the motherfucking year is coming. A Pusha album takes a long time. It takes a long time to put this shit together, but when it comes together, ain’t nothing fucking with it.”

“We stamping that on everything,” he continued, “I don’t care what they say, how they act. I don’t care how viral they go, none of that. Nothing is fucking with it. I’m on some one thousand percent rap superhero shit, man. There’s a lot going on.”
