Pusha T promises 'Daytona' follow-up is "coming soon"

Pusha T has pledged to fans that his follow-up album to Daytona is on its way and “coming soon”.

The rapper’s third studio album arrived back in 2018, and his audience has been eagerly awaiting more material ever since, but Pusha has kept his cards close to his chest. However, T has finally alluded to the release and revealed that the wait might not be so far around the corner.

Pusha was speaking on the red carpet at the re-opening event for Jay-Z’s 40/40 Club in New York, and he was quizzed about what’s next after his 2018 Kanye West-produced record.

“New album coming soon, check for Donda,” the rapper told the flock of reporters outside the club while also giving a mention to his former collaborator’s tenth studio album, which arrived more than a month after it was initially due to drop.

Meanwhile, Pusha took to Instagram to spread the love for West after the arrival of Donda. He wrote: “This is about power, money, influence and taste…nothing more, nothing less.”

Adding: “Watching you’ joystick the culture’ makes us all proud. Continue to do things your way, congrats, and I’m honoured to have been a part of the process.”
