Offset spotted with fashion model amid Cardi B split
Former Migos member Offset has had a whirlwind of a year. The Set It Off creator recently split from Cardi B, and during their split, many rumours circulated on social media regarding infidelity on both sides which is unproven.
That said, during the aftermath of their disagreement, Cardi B labelled him a “dirty ass narcissistic piece of sh*t” and a “garbage bag”, and Offset has moved on from the ‘WAP’ rhymer pretty quickly as he was recently spotted out on a date with fashion model Anok Yai.
The rapper was recently seen with the 26-year-old Egyptian model behind the scenes of a music video, and despite no public announcement from Offset, social media is already convinced that he has moved on from Cardi B.
Anok Yai is only the second Black supermodel to debut a Prada collection after Naomi Campbell. She has also appeared on the covers of magazines such as Vogue and i-D.
Aside from the video currently circulating online, it has been rumoured the pair have been spending a lot of time together behind closed doors and intensifying their connection. After leaving a well-known nightclub in Los Angeles, Yai was spotted by paparazzi talking to Offset, who left after he realised he was being filmed.
However, what is strange yet also intriguing about this potential love affair is that Anok Yai and Cardi B used to be good friends. Anok often went to parties with Cardi B, and the pair frequently attended industry events together.
Still, although Offset may be finding love, the drama surrounding him is far from over. Just recently, he was name-dropped in another couple’s drama when a former friend of Chrisean Rock accused the rapper and reality TV star of sleeping with Offset behind her boyfriend’s back.
This time last year, her on-off boyfriend, Blueface, took to social media, asserting, You literally f***ed Cardi B’s husband [a] couple weeks ago. I’m tired of n***as looking at me while they f***ing you. Get the rest of ’em gone ASAP, please.”
That said, the hearsay was never substantiated with any evidence, and despite the many rumours that surround Offset and his current relationship status at the moment, Cardi B is focused on peacefully coexisting with her ex-husband and co-parenting their kids in the healthiest way possible for the sake of family stability.
