Still, towards the end of 2024, at a Vultures 2 listening event, the 11-year-old California native unveiled that she plans to release her own debut album, Elementary School Dropout, the title taken from her father’s iconic 2004 album, College Dropout.

Speaking to the crowd, North exclaimed, “I’ve been working on an album, and it is called Elementary School Dropout.” North has collaborated with her father much more recently. She featured prominently on the track ‘Talking,’ which peaked at number 30 on the Billboard Hot 100.

On the song, North raps: “I love it here / We’re gonna take over another year / It’s your bestie, Miss, Miss Westie / Don’t try to test me/ It’s gonna get messy / Just, just bless me, bless me / It’s your bestie, Miss, Miss Westie.”

Following the announcement of a debut album, North discussed her debut project in an interview. During a chat with social media figure and fellow child star Jazzy on the first night of Rolling Loud California. After thanking Kim Kardashian for setting up the interview, the social media sensation asked North about the release of Elementary School Dropout, to which North replied: “It’s gonna be great.”

The new FKA Twigs album, EUSEXUA, debuted at number 17 on the Billboard 200, with the track ‘Childlike Things’ hearing North deliver a special performance. So far, there has been no update as to the status of Elementary School Dropout or Bully.
