Nicki Minaj and Ice Spice outsell entire Top 25

The new single ‘Princess Diana’ by Nicki Minaj and Ice Spice has outsold the entire top 25 on Billboard’s Hot 100 chart.

Per Billboardsince ‘Princess Diana’ arrived on Friday, April 14th, it has been downloaded 77,000 times – the best sales for any rap release since Minaj’s 2022 hit ‘Super Freaky Girl’.

The success of ‘Princess Diana’ has also allowed Ice Spice to take home her first number one song after appearing in the charts on four previous occasions. In addition, the new collaborative cut between Minaj and Spice sits at eighth in the chart history of collaborations between two female solo artists.

In April, Chart Data reported that Minaj had become the rapper with the most number one hits on the Digital Song Sale charts. Due to the success of ‘Princess Diana’, she earned her 14th, overtaking Drake’s 13. Resultingly, Minaj extends her record as the female rapper with the most top ten hits on the Hot 100.

After Ice Spice appeared on the cover of Dazed in March, Minaj shared her love for the New York rapper. “GAG!!! ‘The people’s PRINCESS.’ Catch it!!!” she wrote on Twitter.

“Btchs slow so I gih dem a pass. [fire emoji] Nah. Grah! No more passes Princess… Let’s go,” Minaj also wrote under one of Spice’s recent Instagram posts, which contained footage and photos of her performance at Rolling Loud California earlier in the month.
