NFL player shot after alleged argument with Lil Baby
San Francisco 49ers star Keion White was shot in the early hours of February 9th after an alleged argument with Atlanta rapper Lil Baby.
The incident reportedly took place at Dahlia’s, a bar and nightclub at 1799 Mission Street in San Francisco, at around 4:06am.
According to a police report obtained by The San Francisco Standard, the shooting occurred following a situation with Baby. However, police haven’t named a suspect responsible for pulling the trigger.
27-year-old defensive end White was shot at an event which had strippers on the main floor and a private party downstairs, where White suffered his injuries.
A witness told police that Baby’s crew were on the main floor and attempted to gain entry to White’s private event.
After going to speak to a manager about defusing the matter, he claims he heard two gunshots. He allegedly returned to find White shot in the leg, but didn’t know who carried out the shooting.
While that witness claims he heard two gunshots, a woman alleged that she heard four gunshots.
A police officer wrote in their report, “As I entered, I saw numerous scantily clad females picking up dollar bills that were strewn all over the floor. Some of the females were topless and appeared to have been adult entertainers.”
White, who is currently in the hospital receiving treatment, was reportedly uncooperative when asked who had shot him.
In a statement, the San Francisco 49ers said, “Keion White was a victim of a shooting and sustained a bullet wound to his ankle this morning in San Francisco. He is currently undergoing surgery at a local hospital. We will provide further updates when appropriate.”
