New suspects charged amid PnB Rock murder case

Two further suspects have been charged in connection to the robbery and murder of PnB Rock on September 12th, 2022.

The rapper, real name Rakim Hasheem Allen, was fatally shot last year at Roscoe’s Chicken & Waffles restaurant in South Los Angeles. He had been dining at the restaurant with his girlfriend, Stephanie Sibounheuang

The two new murder suspects have been named as Tremont Navon Jones and Wynisha Evans. Both were arrested back in May and have now been charged.

Jones appeared in court on October 31st for a hearing alongside Freddie Trone, the alleged getaway driver. Trone’s 17-year-old son was charged with shooting PnB Rock in the diner earlier in the case.

Although the 17-year-old was charged with murder, his father was also charged with murder as the alleged mastermind and accomplice. Shauntel Trone, Freddie’s wife, was also charged as an accessory after the fact.

Earlier this week, Jones was charged with two counts of robbery, one count of conspiring to rob the rapper inside the restaurant and one count of illegal possession of a firearm. Meanwhile, Evans was charged as an accessory to the crime after the fact. The prosecution alleges that she drove Freddie Trone from Los Angeles to Las Vegas after the incident.

Like Jones and Evans, Freddie and Shauntel Trone pleaded not guilty to their respective charges.
