Navy Blue announces new album ‘Sir Render’ featuring Ka and Earl Sweatshirt
Los Angeles rapper Navy Blue has announced his new album, Sir Render.
Blue only released his last project, The Sword and the Soaring, in November 2025, but he’s already back with another.
Sir Render is set to be released on June 5th. The project consists of 15 songs, with features from Ka, Earl Sweatshirt, Armand Hammer, and Mike Shabb.
The Ka collaboration, ‘Circa’, was recorded prior to the cult Brooklyn rapper’s death in October 2024.
Speaking to Billboard last year, he said, “Ka’s a one-of-a-kind artist, and it’s very rare that you get to meet your heroes, even if the saying goes that you shouldn’t meet them. But in this case, I met one of my heroes, and out of that blossomed a really beautiful friendship and relationship.”
He continued, “He became somebody that I could confide in. He was like a big brother/uncle figure. It’s almost like I felt connected to him, like I knew him before this life type shit.”
Earl, who also features on Sir Render, was introduced to Tyler, The Creator and became a member of Odd Future because of Blue.
In 2022, Earl told i-D, “[Blue] was on my Fairfax skateboard shit. He was a little n*gga on Fairfax, so he knew Tyler. When I heard about the Odd Future shit, I was trying to do music. So I was like, ‘Yo, can you tap me in?’ And Sage was like, ‘Yeah, I gotchu.’ Disgusting world takeover.”
Blue added, “I gave Tyler [Earl’s] MySpace page and that’s it. I was so little then, and [Earl] was kicking it with the big kids. My man was smoking weed, and doing hoodrat things with his friends. I was definitely too little for that.”
