Nas' video for 'Ugly' reflects on tough childhood

Nas has shared the new video for his single ‘Ugly’, reflecting his tough childhood.

The track is the latest effort to get a video from Magic, the fifteenth album of his career. He dropped the release back in December and again saw the New Yorker team up with Hit Boy. They previously worked together on the King’s Disease series, which even won a Grammy for ‘Best Rap Album’.

On the effort, he raps: “Damn, big dog, Dove in that water and got hit with a cannonball, Ugly Christmas sweater party with no Santa Claus, Companies profit off of black trauma, That’s ugly, mad ugly just like Sheneneh and Wanda.”

Meanwhile, Wu-Tang Clan and Nas recently announced details for a joint North American tour which is set to begin in August this year.

The giant co-headline N.Y. State Of Mind tour will stop off at 25 cities over two months until October, Kicking off in St. Louis on August 30th and concluding in Los Angeles on October 4th.

The pair of hip-hop legends will also perform in Toronto, Newark, Tampa, Charlotte, Atlanta, Houston, Dallas, and Oakland, bringing their vast back catalogues to fans old and new across the continent.
