Mustard requests full custody over ex-wife’s alleged social media attacks
Los Angeles music producer Mustard is requesting sole custody of his three children following alleged social media attacks from his ex-wife.
The hit producer (real name Dijon McFarlane) married Chanel Thierry in 2020, but split several years ago. Their divorce was finalised in 2024.
In new court documents obtained by TMZ, Mustard has demanded full custody of 13-year-old Kiylan, 10-year-old Kauner, and six-year-old Kody.
The judge ordered both of them to refrain from speaking in a “negative, disrespectful, or derogatory manner to or about the other” in their presence or “within hearing distance of the child.”
Mustard claims Thierry broke that order by directing comments towards him on social media.
In a Threads post on October 26th, she allegedly wrote, “Dijon I know you are reading this, I’m so sick of your shit. You suck.” In another post, Thierry accused Mustard of gaslighting one of their kids due to being threatened by her.
“A bitter man will gaslight your own child to make himself feel better,” she wrote. “Mind you 3 years ago this was the same man that was screaming shopsleepova!!! Buying me Lamborghinis, rolls-Royce’s, Richard Mille watch’s, diamonds and Birkin bag skins.”
She added, “Now that he’s not with me he has to go out his way to diminish my light!? Not only pubically but to my kids as well!!? You are jealous asf Dijon. How could someone so successful be threaten by me!?”
Mustard is asking for her to be hit with a $30,000 penalty for her actions and claims her comments “negatively impact the best interests” of their kids and “undermine the proper functioning of the co-parenting process.”
Their divorce settlement included $315,000 for spousal support, with Mustard also paying $24,500 per month for child support.
