Milwaukee rapper Chicken P charged with multiple counts of rape

Milwaukee rapper Chicken P (real name Rahkeib Smith) has been indicted on rape charges while currently behind bars on drug and firearm charges.

On November 6th, P was charged with multiple counts of rape, attempted rape, gross sexual imposition, abduction, and public indecency.

According to TMZ, the rapper has been accused of sexually assaulting an anonymous woman in Cleveland, Ohio, on March 11th, 2024, and March 12th, 2024.

The 30-year-old allegedly had sexual intercourse with the woman without her consent and through physical force.

The gross sexual imposition charges involve P being accused of sexually touching the woman when she couldn’t consent. Then, the abduction charges come from restraining one’s freedom with a sexual motive.

As for the public indecency charge, he allegedly engaged in sexual conduct or masturbation in a manner likely to be viewed by others in his proximity, outside his household.

Addressing the charges on Instagram, P wrote, “I want to make it clear that I maintain my innocence and I am fully committed to clearing my name through the proper legal process. I have always carried myself with respect toward women and toward everyone I interact with, both inside and outside of music. Anyone who truly knows me knows what I stand for and the principles I live by.”

He added, “This has been one of the hardest moments of my life, but I’m staying strong, keeping faith, and trusting that the truth will be revealed. I ask the public, the media, and everyone watching to allow the facts before making judgments.”

Chicken P was sentenced to six years in August on drug and firearm charges, which include three years in prison and three years’ probation.

He released his latest album, Lights, Camera, Action, via 10K Projects in June 2025. With over 700,00 monthly Spotify listeners, his biggest song, ‘Look Like’, has over 16 million streams.
