Sex sells is a mantra that the musician certainly adheres to, and the success that ‘Her’ is bound to receive will, in part, ratify that. Taken from her latest surprise record Traumazine, song and video alike are unapologetic bops.
Teaming up with director Colin Tilley, the star took a monochrome approach this time out as the bleached-out aesthetic is met with a choreographed ensemble dance routine that many will probably put their back out trying to mimic.
Traumazine itself came as a big surprise after the rapper announced it only a few days before it was due to be released. However, since then, it has continued to draw positive reviews as the rapper shoulders out her own strutting niche in hip hop.
