Man critically wounded at shooting on the set of Boosie Badazz music video

One person is wounded following a shooting that took place during the recording of a new Boosie Badazz music video in Louisiana over the weekend.

TMZ reports that the Louisiana rapper – real name Torrence Ivy Hatch Jr – has not been harmed in the shooting. However, sadly, an unnamed man is in critical condition.

Police have told the publication that they responded to a report of shots fired around 4:30pm. When they arrived on the scene, the police say they saw “between 50 and 100 people making a run for it, either by foot or in vehicles”.

When they arrived, the police discovered a man in his 20s on the ground who had suffered a gunshot wound. He was then taken to a local hospital by EMTs. Police have confirmed they currently have no suspects in custody and haven’t shared the motive behind the shooting.

The incident isn’t the first time that Boosie has been involved in a public shooting. Last November, the 38-year-old rapper was shot in the leg in Dallas, Texas, following attending a candlelight vigil for rapper MO3.
