Machine Gun Kelly once insisted he was given “crazy” drugs by Diddy

Former Bad Boy mogul and Revolt TV founder Diddy has been under a lot of scrutiny since last year when numerous allegations of sexual assault came his way, and ever since various people in the industry have been telling crazy stories about the producer and his behind-the-scenes shenanigans.

Since the allegations made against Diddy by his former girlfriend, Cassie Ventura, Lil Rod and others, many have come out to denounce him, and many have done so by adding more fuel to the fire through stories. One such story came from Cleveland lyricist Machine Gun Kelly (MGK).

Although the two musicians seem completely separated and in different worlds, Diddy was actually the first person to offer MGK a record deal and, in 2011, signed him to Bad Boy Records. The pair had a lengthy friendship, and with Diddy in the spotlight, a clip of MGK discussing drugs the producer gave him has begun making its rounds on social media.

The footage, initially posted by radio host Angela Yee, hears the rapper recall a time when he asked Diddy for some pills to help him sleep on a flight. However, the alleged drugs that were given to him had the opposite effect.

Recounting what he could of the event, MGK told the hosts of The Box on 97.9 FM, “I’d smoked something that Puff had given me. It was as if I had partied, like, three nights straight. I was like, ‘I’m about to go to the airport — I need something that’ll knock me out.’ It totally did the opposite.”

He continued, “I was doing crazy dance moves to the weirdest music for 20 minutes straight, like, while he was on the phone. And I was just outside the window looking in while he was looking at me like, ‘Man, this kid’s nuts.’”

Machine Gun Kelly disclosed that the two frequently “bumped heads” and told a story about a time when Diddy abandoned him in traffic to get to the GQ magazine party. Recalling the disagreement, MGK told the hosts, “He’s like, ‘We about to go to this GQ party!’ I said, ‘Bruh, I was just at the GQ party, man. … He’s like, ‘Oh, OK, whatever. Don’t trip. Let’s just roll.’”

According to Machine Gun Kelly, he had already been at the party but was ordered by Diddy to return alongside him. Still, when they hit a long line of cars to get back into the party, Diddy’s security stopped Kelly’s car while the Bad Boy founder headed to the party unscathed.

Since the Press Play creator’s downfall, rumours about his behaviour at various “parties” and alleged substance abuse have consumed the internet with all sorts of unchecked conspiracy theories causing media firestorms.
