Machine Gun Kelly and Cordae’s manager accused of sexual assault
Machine Gun Kelly and Cordae’s manager has found himself at the centre of a legal battle where he’s being accused of sexual assault.
36-year-old Aaron ‘Ace’ Christian, who also manages Cordae, is alleged to have attacked his neighbour in a disturbing incident that took place earlier this year.
According to the Daily Mail, Christian allegedly assaulted his unnamed female neighbour, who is 20 years old, in June. The woman says the incident took place at her home and has allegedly led to Christian threatening both her and her boyfriend, with a restraining order being filed against him following alleged throat-cutting gestures undertaken from his balcony.
The police report was filed last week, claiming that Christian forced her to perform oral sex on him during the attack that took place at night. The incident allegedly took place after Christian had been invited to the woman’s apartment to spend time with her boyfriend and was left alone with her.
The victim claims that when she was cleaning up, Christian approached her from behind and said, “You know you want me.” Despite saying “no” a number of times and attempting to exit the situation, she alleges that Christian cornered her, grabbed her by the throat and exposed himself while making explicit demands. This came after Christian apparently arrived at their house with his girlfriend, but she left early to look after their five-year-old son.
As for Christian’s artists, Machine Gun Kelly released his last album Mainstream Sellout in 2022, with Cordae dropping The Crossroads last month with features from the likes of Kanye West, Lil Wayne, Juicy J, Anderson .Paak, Ty Dolla $ign, Joey Bada$$ and others.
Christian discovered Cordae on SoundCloud when he only had around 8,000 followers. Shortly after, he released a remix of Eminem’s ‘My Name Is’, which instantly went viral and gained over 50,000 followers in six hours, and then the rest was history.
The music manager has also represented the likes of Chance The Rapper, Wyclef Jean and Mod Sun throughout his career. A popular figure in the music industry, Christian has over 19,000 followers on his Instagram account but his profile is currently private.
Christian is yet to comment on the allegation.
