Listen to Lil Uzi Vert's new album 'Pink Tape'

Lil Uzi Vert has finally released their long-awaited new album Pink Tape.

The extended-release features 26 songs in total and includes collaborations from all across the musical spectrum. From a hip-hop perspective, Lil Uzi links up with Travis Scott, Nicki Minaj, and Don Toliver on the release. Meanwhile, British rock band Bring Me the Horizon and Japan’s Babymetal also collaborate with the American rapper.

“It was challenging at first. But then after probably after a month, I got used to it,” Uzi recently said about making the project to TMZ. “I thought that my creative process wasn’t going to be the same because I wasn’t on drugs no more. It was the same.”

They continued: “Even better. Because I could think more clear and I could actually, like, instead of my words slurring, which is kinda of cool, everything made sense. I didn’t just make random music. How can I say? I didn’t play off the beat. I actually made song with topics this time.”

Pink Tape is the first full-length release from the hip-hop artist since their 2020 album Eternal Atake, which provided Uzi with their second number-one LP.

The rapper is currently playing a series of festival dates across Europe which includes an appearance at Wireless Festival in London on July 7th, and a set at Longitude Festival in Ireland on July 1st.
