Lil Wayne has announced details of a brand new vinyl boxset called Tha Carter Singles Collection.
In total, the upcoming release will feature 19 past singles in a limited seven-inch vinyl boxset, and it comprises picks from his five Tha Carter albums. The first in the series came in 2004 before Weezy released the sequel Tha Carter II in 2005, which arrived ahead of 2008’s Tha Carter III, 2011’s Tha Carter IV, and 2018’s Tha Carter V.
Furthermore, the boxset will arrive alongside liner notes and a booklet of rare photos. Announcing the release, Wayne commented, “Woop!!! We put together something special for y’all!”
Additionally, fans will be excited to hear that an unreleased track titled ‘Ya Dig’ from the era of Tha Carter III will also feature on the platform. Wayne first shared the song on streaming platforms last week, and now it’ll be available on vinyl.
Recently, Lil Wayne has become an honorary member of Run The Jewels for their new remix of ‘Ooh La La’ and teamed up with Rich The Kid to drop the collaborative mixtape, Trust Fund Babies.
