Lil Wayne announces new podcast ‘The Joint Venture Show’
Lil Wayne is launching a new podcast called The Joint Venture Show.
Weezy has teamed up with sports radio veteran Craig Carton to co-host the upcoming podcast, with the first episode releasing on July 22nd.
The show, produced by Magilla Entertainment, will be available on YouTube and other streaming platforms.
It will cover everything from music to sports, welcoming special guests in the latter part of the episodes. Together, they’ll tackle the biggest stories, diving into celebrity feuds and all-time debates.
In a statement, Wayne said, “The best podcasts feel like you just kicking it with your people, talking the same way you do when nobody’s listening. I’ma light one up with the homie Craig, and we gonna talk our shit about whatever the day brings. You never know who’s gonna pull up or where the conversation’s gonna go.”
Carton added, “There’s nothing better than swapping takes with Wayne on sports, pop culture and a whole host of other topics. The Joint Venture Show gives us a great excuse to keep doing what we’ve been doing for years, while also having some famous friends stop by and chop it up with us. There’s no better job in the world.”
Weezy also serves as a producer alongside Carton, Matthew Ostrom, Laura Palumbo Johnson, Jason Fox and Fabian Marasciullo.
This isn’t Wayne’s first time hosting a show, having previously been behind Young Money Radio on Apple Music.
Wayne released his last album, Tha Carter VI, in June 2025, debuting at number two on the Billboard 200 chart. He’s currently touring across North America on the 20 Years of Carter Classics Tour and is working on another new project, titled Tha Carter VII.
