Lil Wayne claims he's a better rapper than Jay-Z

In a new interview, Lil Wayne has claimed he’s the greatest rapper of all-time, and more talented than Jay-Z.

The revelation came during an interview with Apple Music presenter Zane Lowe to promote his new album, Tha Carter VI. Weezy had a bone to pick about a recent rapper ranking from Billboard, which has been doing the rounds online in recent weeks, and he was fuming to be merely placed at seventh. In his mind, he should be placed as number one, but instead, that position belongs to Jay-Z.

Others who Wayne thinks were undeservedly placed ahead of him on the list also are Biggie Smalls, Tupac Shakur, Nas, Eminem, Kendrick Lamar, and Tupac Shakur. While the numbers between Jay, and Weezy are comparable, the latter’s opinion is unlikely to be a popular stance.

Meanwhile, during the same conversation, Wayne talked about his upcoming album and revealed he “never even imagined” the series would be six chapters deep. He said, “My fans know I give my all. Go listen to my last feature and know it’s gonna be a thousand times better than that.”

Additionally, he also opened up about his health routine. Although Wayne doesn’t work out, the 40-year-old spoke about the importance of consuming a healthy diet and revealed he’s had a personal chef for the last two decades. “When I was 19, I moved to Miami, and my mom is a chef, and she was very happy for the move because New Orleans is crazy,” he commented. “One thing she really wanted me to do was get a personal chef.”

Wayne added: “So from the age of 19 to now, I’ve always had a personal chef. I haven’t eaten any fast food forever. I don’t know what McDonald’s smell like.” Upon the topic of gyms, he joked, “Only gyms I know is Jim Jones. I can’t lift a weight. I don’t do no workout.”
