LeBron James trolled by Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs chants at LA Rams game

LeBron James attended the Los Angeles Rams versus Philadelphia Eagles game over the weekend and didn’t get the warmest of welcomes from the crowd. The NBA star was enjoying some downtime as the Eagles beat the Rams 37-20, but he couldn’t leave without being heckled over the ongoing Sean ‘Diddy‘ Combs saga.

In the days following the game, a video surfaced online showing a spectator shouting in the direction of LeBron James, who was sitting in a private suite at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California. “Bron! Bron! We know you was at them Diddy parties, n-gga! We know you was there,” he said to no reaction. “We know you was at them Diddy parties!”

Diddy’s parties, known as “freak-offs,” are at the centre of his arrest in September, with the rapper being charged with racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking and transportation to engage in prostitution. The Bad Boy boss has been accused of recording sex acts during the “freak-offs,” which are described as sex parties lasting days on end involving sex workers.

According to the BBC, Combs allegedly “hit, kicked, threw objects at victims,” leading to injuries that would sometimes take weeks to heal. Prosecutors say participants were allegedly coerced with drugs and threats to remain “obedient and compliant,” before taking IV fluids to recover.

The reason for LeBron being hit with mentions of Diddy’s parties is due to a video that recently resurfaced amid the charges against the rap mogul. During a live stream four years ago, LeBron stated, “Ain’t no party like a Diddy party,” with many suggesting he might have attended some of the “freak-offs.” However, it’s unconfirmed whether he even attended a party held by Combs, and nothing suggests James has ever committed any illegalities.

James, who is considered one of the best basketball players of all time, is currently playing his 22nd season in the NBA, with his team, the Los Angeles Lakers, sitting in sixth position in the Western Conference.

Following the clip resurfacing, political commentator Candace Owens wrote on X, “Is LeBron James going to weigh in on his friend’s ‘freak offs’? I mean, we hear from ‘the king’ on virtually every political issue so this seems like an odd one to stay quiet about.”

Diddy is detained at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, New York City, with his trial set to begin on May 5th, 2025. He has pled not guilty to all of the charges.
