Kim Kardashian is “nervous” about what’s in the upcoming Kanye West documentary
It has been reported that Kim Kardashian is extremely nervous about the upcoming Kanye West Netflix documentary In Whose Name? The now-divorced couple got married in 2014. However, what the public witnessed was a deteriorating and highly volatile relationship.
Kanye West has always had an unpredictable temperament and a strange way of seeing the world, but many would argue his unusual and unique mindset is the reason he has managed to create such groundbreaking projects.
That said, after eight years of struggle, the two superstars and respective billionaires divorced, but Kim Kardashian is now allegedly worried that the upcoming 2025 Kanye West documentary may include private phone arguments between them.
Entitled In Whose Name?, the documentary follows teenager Nico Ballesteros, who accompanied West everywhere for six years to piece together this new project. The 18-year-old filmed much of the footage and directed the documentary. Still, it is set to cover some of the more negative aspects of his life. Furthermore, it will focus on the emotional volatility and self-destructive behaviours he has shown in recent years.
Many think that West will use the documentary as a way to get retribution. As reported by Us Weekly, a source close to Kim Kardashian has unveiled that the influencer and reality TV star fears her ex-husband will use this business opportunity to cast her in a bad light, disclosing, “She’s worried. Kanye’s relationship with Kim and her family is not good, and while she tries to keep the peace with him, they’ve had arguments over the phone that could end up being used in the doc, and he doesn’t care about being popular or liked, or politically correct.”
The insider insisted that the family knows West well and, therefore, knows that if he is going to share things, he will reveal the most sensitive information possible. Now, there is no possibility of them stopping him. Speaking to US Weekly, the close friend of Kim Kardashian’s stated, “She’s known her whole marriage/life with Kanye that he’s an open book, and there’s nothing she could ever do to stop him from saying whatever he wants.”
The Chicago musician’s relationship and marriage to Kim Kardashian was primarily viewed through the lens of his wife on her family reality show Keeping Up With The Kardashians.
In a 2023 episode of the show, Kardashian opened up about how her relationship with West drastically changed and said West was so different when she met him, unveiling, “I always will [keep looking for that person]. You’ll always hope you’ll see a glimpse of them, and I hope I do. It’s really confusing for me; it’s so different from the person that I married. That’s who I loved, and that’s who I remember. I’ll do anything to get that person back.”
However, West’s recollection of events may prove rather unhelpful to Kim, who has had the luxury of shaping the narrative around their divorce thus far.
